In the end I'm not sure what the point of this book was.... Maybe a third person apology for slavery, maybe left-wing grandstanding. It was fun to witness one man's vision of what the Sage would have made of our modern world...but there really wasn't much more there.

A light and good natured read so far...I've often speculated as to how the Sage would react to iPods, laptops and cellphones....
