Not only is our new lead not Corwin, but Zelazny's style has noticeably changed to go with the new character. So far, I actually prefer it.

Ok, serious Highlander vibe. Of course, Amber was first, so perhaps I should amend that implication a bit.

I think I'm going to like this, though strikingly less poetic than my previous Zelazny reads. Easier to digest, but hopefully no less deep.
