Plunging into another zombie book - I'm not a fan of the shambling dead, but I'd like to finish the trilogy. Yes, I had no idea the Forest of Hands and Teeth was a zombie book when I bought it.

Nearly finished. I hope the climax blows my mind, otherwise I'll just be all 'meh'.

Holy hell, Gabry, that is the singular most coolest thing any young adult heroine has ever done. You should give tips to Nora Grey. You are one BAMF.

I LOVE the title of this book now that I know what it actually means! I always liked it for its poeticness, but now it's just awesome. I like that Gabry's so flawed as well.

Angela I was given an ARC for the third book but haven't read this one yet so can't skip forward. I really should buy it but other things get in the way.

Lissa Yeah I know how that happens! This is actually the second time I've borrowed this from the library.

Mel (who is deeply in love with herself) I loved the first book, but from some of the reviews I've read of this sequel, it falls short of expectations. So I'm a bit reluctant to read this one. Don't you think the first book was fine as a stand-alone, too??

Angela My library doesn't have this one in so I'll have to buy it.

Mel, I was annoyed when they made this into yet another trilogy as I thought the first one was great as a standalone.
Can't comment on the whole thing though as not read the sequels yet but I think they set quite a few years after the events of the first book and with different characters. Don't quote me on that though!

Lissa I think part of the reason I haven't been in a rush to read this is because the first one was a great standalone.

This book is set many years after the first one and is about Mary's daughter, Gabry.
