Stupid PDF file won't let me make notes w/Nook! So far, I'm really enjoying this book. Darla is the same hardcore gal from the last book. And she's such a tinkerer... I love her innovation. Right away the action started, but I'm not so sure about this trip the two lovebirds are planning. Like a needle in a haystack if you ask me.

Darla and Alex are like night and day. Darla takes no prisoners, thinks generosity is a foul word. Alex gives like he has a wishing well that won't let him down. The contrast between the two is insane.

Sorry about the back-to-back updates, but like I said... no notes in the nook. I love the realism in this book. Nothing seems fake about the struggles. The pain is real, the trials are real. And did I mention I love Darla. She does what needs to be done no matter what. Yet she still manages to keep her heart when necessary.
