I had been confused about the fact that the book seemed to be ending before I was halfway done with it, but now things make sense.

The organization of this book is so strange. But I suppose that fits with the overall strangeness of the story.

Very curious. Am I wrong to be getting a gay/bi vibe from Jane? Also, I feel it seems odd that the narrator calls her Jane, but it’s Janie in all the dialogue.
