The story takes place In the present and past when she is explaining everything she did with ed and her best friend Al. So far I've always had the question "Does Al like Mal?"

Mal has second chances with going out with Ed. She realizes watching these basketball games and hanging out him just simply isn't her scene. Mal also gets to know Ed's sister a little more and realizes they actually have lots in common. While reading this book I continue to wonder why would she keep dating him if she knew it was so wrong? This book just gets better and better
