Contrary to what my updates may indicate, I actually enjoyed the book. I just didn't love it. May read another Kafka book to get my taste.

Opinions unchanged on the book unfortunately. It's fine, definitely slightly above average, but not notable enough for me to enjoy it. The priest scene just went on for way too long for it to have impact.

It is a good book, but man do I wish they broke it up into paragraphs to make this easier to read (might be my translation). But definitely not a bad book, it just strikes me as more academic than entertaining.

So far my opinion hasn't changed; a lot is happening and I have no idea what to think, which is the point, but still. It's a touch improved from when I first read it, but not substantially
