chapter ten is explaining everything before the shooting Josie was been forced to have sex with Matt without protection she refuses to do it because she knows what would be the consequences if she doesn't use protection, but one night going out Matt she got drunk and he has the opportunity to force her to do it and then she suffers a pregnancy scare which he doesn't seem to be too concerned about it.

Chapter nine is telling us the reader how Patrick and alex started a friendship after all this tragedy happened everybody was trying to keep their normal life. after all Patrcisk discovers that Peter is not gay. Lewis after the shooting started taking flowers to the victims, he cant face Peter and he was wishing that it had been Peter died instead of Joey.

Chapter nine is really sad. Houghton's dog has to be put to sleep because was really sick and old. Then Josie got a job in shop while she was getting train in the guy who was training her got some feelings for her, but she rejects him, after this Josie and Peter got stuck in the elevator and they tried to work things and they kissed after that was when Peter found that his brother got killed in a car wreck.

Chapter 7 is still talking about odd details regarding to peter trying to get tell us of why peter did what he did in one part of the chapter Josie is still really scared about what happened i dont think anybody that goes through this ever recovers. She was having lunch when her mom when some car backfires and she thought it was a shooting she dropped everthing. it also tell us that Peter hated his brother because

The chapter 6 explain how things were before this tragedy happened, this chapter is basically explaining that peter's mom wanted peter to play soccer to socialize with others but peter keeps getting bully in the locker room and his coach noticed and didn't do anything to help him. After that peter's dad was taking him to hunt deer and having problems nobody noticed, learning how to use a gun make it worse.

chapter five was long just to summarize the whole chapter peter is in jail and police is looking for evidence which is pretty clear and it's so impressed how Peter does not feel sorry about what he did and in court he played not guilty this chapter was very clear, explaining with detail of what happened and it's really scary because those are kids that grow up with problems and nobody notice it until this type

Chapter three is telling pretty much what petter's problem was, he was bullied in school and he just kept for himself his brother knew Petter was bullied by the people in the bus. Chapter three the sheriff Patrick started giving details of what he saw in the scene of the crime that occurred in school, it was horrible how he was describing kids dead and is really sad that this type of tragedy still happen some where in the world we never know when is going to be our last time seeing the people we love it made me cry a little bit and i cant imagine how scared those kids were.

The first chapter is about minutes after the school shooting. it talks about everyone responding the chaos that occurs when Peter Houghton, a high school student, gets put into custody for the murder of 10 students. this chapter shows that the book has a deeper meaning than just the school shooting. if the school shooting was important, the author would not have introduced it in the first chapter.
