Her mouth rounded into a little surprised O.
No words came out. He’d rendered her speechless...
She squinted at him suspiciously. “Kier...you stitch?”
He thrust out a hand. “The needle.”
She extended it.

First read in 2012. Enjoyable adventure. I rated 4*
Have an ARC of this 2017 re-release edition and am looking forward to revisiting Kier and Sophia in 1264 ;)
But first, Kier has to survive that locked, burning smuggler's hut...
