I plan to finish "book" 1 (of 4) today. Then, I'll need to decide whether to dive right into "book" 2, or jump into another series (I'm planning to read Book of the New Sun, Jack Vance's Tales of The Dying Earth, and Glen Cook's Chronicles of the Black Company concurrently). Decisions, decisions. . . .

@Kyle: Don't worry [re: what I said to Matt about this book so far], I'm still totally planning to continue, but I hoped it'd pick up more (which, I'm sure it will), but just a little bit sooner haha!!

No problem. It does pick up quite a bit I think--as long as you're enjoying it so far! I'm always happy whenever anyone picks up this book (though I tend to think of it more as one book than a series).
