One thing I have recognized is that what Constentine said to be her previous white child she looked over was probably her daughter. This is because the author told us that Cinstentine had a white daughter because of her fathers genes. This being said it is highly likely that the picture was of her daughter.

One thing I am starting to notice was how hard it was to interact with another race. For example when Miss Skeeter has to talk with Abileen they both act very stiff and follow unspoken requirements. This is the same when Miss Skeeter talks with Minny, they sit opposite of each other and don'y even look at one another.

One thing I wonder is if Abileen really will stay around for Mrs. Leefolts new baby. I wonder this because if Abileen is taught talking to Mrs. Skeeter she will most defiantly be fired. But if she isn't I wonder if she will move on because that seems to be the pattern with her past jobs.

One thing I find weird is that Abileen has agreed to tell about her experience as a black woman working for a white woman and Minny hasn't.This is because in the book Abileen has a lot more self control and always gives the answers that her boss wants.On the other hand Minny is not as self controlled and is not afraid to speak her mind even if it's what her boss does not want to hear.So why won't she share her story?

One thing that kind of bothers me about the authors style is the way she writes using the accents of the characters. While this is sometimes helpful to understand more in depth what the character is like it can be confusing. Take Minny and Abileen. They both talk with a dialect. However, sometimes the meaning of what they are saying or thinking can get lost because of their accents.

I have noticed that the author is really starting to make the different perspectives interact with each other. For example when Minny was fired it was discussed in not only her perspective and also in Abileens perspective. As the reader, I wonder that if that will begin to bring a clearer perspective of other characters and situations, or if it will just make it more confusing.
