So far throughout my readings, Kevin describes much of his early life. He describes the details that ultimately lead to the worsening of his depression. Some of these factors, such as his father's alcoholism and his parent's separation led to many conflicts as a teenager. None of his conflicts had affected him in the same way as the loss of his friend. All this information and only about a fourth of the way through.
