I'm impressed its a doozy...!!! I do want to read that at some point in 09.

Yes it's big, but it's also approachable. I made several false starts over the years before this go -- in large part because he introduces dozens of characters right off in a way that's a little disorienting, like you don't know if the whole book is going to be like that, right up until it clicks and you start to see there's one big and connected plot at work and you just kind of settle in and enjoy it -- but I'm loving it. I'm loan it back when I'm done for as long as you need :)
Ok cool- I've never read any David Foster Wlallce and I know you guys are bug fans... I'm unraveling the mystery of Yves Saint Laurent.
