if I was magnes at that moment and setting of jumping into the water at 400 feet the air in icey water I would never have been able to do it. I think the reasons that magnus was able to do it was because 1,he had experience of taking risks,2,he trusted his friend that much.I would probably have none of those at that moment.because I don't have enough trust or experience, I wouldn't have been able to jump off the ship

I think that the setting of the giants cave and snow planet affect magnus's mood because he can't sleep, and is very nervous about what's to come.

I notice that one bad thing about magnes is how he will sacrifice himself for his friends. he will do almost anything that his friends want him to do for example to stab a beast under whose blood is toxic from under the ground, this could have killed him but he escaped anyway

I noticed that magnus chase is just like percy jackson because he always worries about his friends and feels he always has to be with them when they always do something dangerous. I noticed this when magneses friends had to go on a separate mission to get a special stone and magnes felt that he had to go along, when he didn't he was always worrying about them.

I like how the book said "Pottery Barn jumped off the table. Their limbs grinded and scraped like stones against cement. They stood about eight feet tall, which was plenty scary to me, but I wondered if they stood a chance against whatever clay warrior Hrungnir had created" I like how it made you know how powerful the clay warrior was but also makes you think if it can fight the other statue

I really think that the humor in this book really makes the story more interesting, for example "Old York looks absolutely nothing like New York.
It looks older."

It's strange how all of magnus's valhalla friends all all hide how they died like T.J. and how he died fighting a lieutenant, or how mallury won't say how the car bomb killed her.

I wonder where the story is going and how the characters will find a way to escape?
