I am guessing this book will play along with the other books in the series and have the main character step in for the baseball player. Just like how in the first two books the baseball player gets injured and has the main character play in a iconic moment in baseball history.

In the book I am reading I think my book could be the quest because the main character Joe Stoshack goes back in time so he could write a report on Jackie Robinson. Also another possible option would be voyage and return because Joe goes back in time and has to come back to his era. I think my book is quest because Joe has to go back in time and learn about Jackie Robinson back in his time.

The type of conflict in the book I am reading is character vs character because the main conflict is about the antagonist of the book Ant. Also you could say the conflict is character vs self. Joe needs to learn how to control his temper in which that means the conflict could be character vs self. If I had to say the conflict I would say it would be character vs character because Ant tries to get rid of Joe Stoshack.

The setting of this book is in 1947 and in Brooklyn. The team that Jackie Robinson is the LA Dodgers but back in his time they were the Brooklyn Dodgers. Back in this time Jackie Robinson is the first African American in baseball history to play. He changed the league forever but it wasn't that easy. Everyone was against because he was the first African American. The fans, players, even managers were against him.

The antagonist of this book I think is the mom of the protagonist. The mom is always worried about Joe going back in time. She doesn't want him to go but he does. Even though the mom doesn't want him to go she still allows him to. She isn't necessarily the bad character but she doesn't like when Joe goes back in time. The dad is could be an antagonist but he does go back in time with Joe to see the historic players.

The protagonist of the story is a kid named Joe Stoshack. He uses old baseball cards to travel in time to a big moment in baseball history. I think that he is very responsible. Saying he is a kid I would think that he would want to keep on traveling back in time and get all these guys' signatures. Instead he relives the moment with those players. He doesn't travel to get an autograph but to actually meet the player.

In the book the main character just like in the other books in the series specifically chooses these historic people to go see how their life was while they were playing ball.

I always wonder why the main character chooses these players specifically and why not others. Maybe it is because they are really important players at the time they played. Jackie a Robinson was the first African American baseball player and changed the game forever.

In the pages I've read in this time span it has been kinda interesting in those pages. They are going into the past in the Jackie Robinson era.

I chose to read this book because I love reading sports books. Also in 5th grade my teacher would read this series to us. The other books are called Babe and me and Honus and me. I loved those books when my teacher read it to us so I thought that I should read the next book because the other ones were really interesting. My teacher loves baseball so that is why he intruduced those books to us. The book is good so far
