Trucking along. We have finished parts 1-3 on intro/framing, quant design, and sampling, measurement and data collection. Great text for a survey course, but working to figure out how to differentiate for methods vs. non-methods students. Not sure either group is getting all it needs from the text alone, or from presenting the text in class with isolated practice work.

Really enjoying this textbook for my quantitative research methods class. Short chapters are readily digestible for students. Information is concise and accessible. Though rare, some instances of description and framing are atypical. The validity chapter still covers the 1999 standards in lieu of 2014 - odd.

Ch 1-3 and 14 (ethics). Nice primer so far. From an instructional perspective, the end of chapter resources and questions seem quite useful

Using this to teach a new-to-me course on designing quantitative research studies. Solid so far, sends like a practical handbook and long term reference resource
