So far, this book is a seemingly disconnected chain of happenings, taking form as I delve deeper into the story. A slow read, not for everyone, and as far as I got, not the "masterpiece" I was expecting, but surely better than anything Bolaño did before. A must read for the lover of the grotesque and surreal.
