I thought 5 stars as one of the best teaching books, with good workable knowledge of metaphysical disciplines: animal communication, auras.... and meditation to do all similar work and message-receiving well. 4 stars for prepostrous, heavy-handed use of "gentle" with things that ARE soft; massage, floating!!! I especially feel that imagining separate places for anything; past, future, or spirits, is irrelevant.

This textbook contains an unexpectedly good range of healing and metaphysical subjects and strikes the basics so that readers become informed well about Monica's sampling. Example, anyone for whom Reiki healing and the auras that surround everybody were new, would not only be clued into what they are but could try exercises saying how to see and feel auras. It starts with meditation, animal communication and grows.

She is banned from using the word "gently" and especially from plunking it into stupid uses too, like when a concept is already soft!!!!

I wish I had been in the mood to read last night and soar through great progress. I read a few pages before deciding to sleep. This introduction to Monica Diedrich's instructional trilogy is excellent, I'll finish it today. It's funny, I read her first, unrelated book years ago. It must be why I delayed this one for years. I like turning to a variety of authors. I gave it to a friend and wasn't keen to keep it.

This is animal communication instruction I bought around 2004. After my childhood cat passed away, it blew me away to see that there is validation of my certainty, that she was equally sentient and I could understand her directly. Most instructions say to quiet the mind, send love, visualize offering a connection between you, and letting information flow in. Monica describes how to quiet a mind; true first steps!
