Am I the only one who thinks this is the weakest, least-enjoyable Anita Blake novel yet? The plot is weak, the drama unnecessary, I hate stupid frilly Jean-Claude, and what was WITH that scene between her/J-C/Richard in her apt.? It was embarrassing. And her level of noir-machismo is becoming unbearable. But maybe the ending will blow me away...

Is it totally weird that I only care about the Edward parts? (NO NOT "TWILIGHT" EDWARD.)
