The more I read this book, the more I like it. I wouldn't necessarily call it profound, but it is interesting and thought-provoking in a good sense. The basic thesis is that meaning is essential to a life well-lived, far more so than simple happiness; and the most meaningful things in life have to do with how we share life with other people. In other words, life is about relationships.

I have just started reading this book--finished the intro this morning. So far, it appears to be a worthwhile, relatively easy book to read, and I like, so far, what the author has to say. Most of the reviews of it I read were positive, and so far, that positive perspective appears to be well-founded.
