Most of the unknown things are understandable now. Its kinda a end of the world, hot guy(Montgomery) is trying to save the world with the help of the shade hunter Lilia. Now after his contact, her husband and a shade with information is killed Lillia and Montgomery are trying to work together and save the pathetic thing that is the world. (there words not mine on the whole pathetic word thing.)

Another angel has been de winged and now Montgomery and Lilia are in charge of taking care of him on their mission to save the world..... (corny mission, every end of the world book has it) So far Fallens okay but not in my top ten favorites.

So far its kinda confusing but from what I understand so far the City of Gotham once a proud and beautiful city is in ruins, a woman named Lilia is searching the ruins of Gotham why we don't know. Oh, and Montgomery is an angel who went under an experimental operation having his wings removed again why we don't know. Lots of unknown things. Kinda sucks.
