I was just about to post the same thing. a good book, but the ending is disappointing

To be fair, the ending is exactly what you'd expect from an apocalyptic tale of good vs evil in which Satan and God literally exist.
You do read a lot of bricks lately. And quite fast (at least if I compare it to my reading speed).
