As Harry enters Leaky Cauldron, he meets the Minster of Magic, thinking he might expel him from Hogwarts, for blowing up his aunt. He even feared the worst, being sent to Azkaban. Fudge laughed at his comment, since you can't be sent to Azkaban for blowing up someone. He later sent Harry to a room where he would be staying for the next few weeks before he starts his third year at Hogwarts.

His actions caused him to ditch his aunt's and uncle's house. Harry later finds himself on the curbside of Magnolia Crescent, a street near number four privet drive, standing in front of a big black dog. He stood up, but as he walked backwards, he fell.
