Megan People hate ADAM PARRISH???? Like, WHAT, why is this the first I've heard of this? He was actually probably my favourite character when I read the series years ago. Yikes, guess I've been living under a rock...

Is there any particularly reason why? Or just a general dislike?

TS I haven't read the raven boys yet but I agree so much for the first two. I love Sansa, she was actually one of my Laborite POV to read from in the books even when she was a naive girl.

Greyson | Use Your Words I'm with you on Sansa, she did drive me crazy in the beginning and she's had her moments, I was worried there for a bit this past season but she is such a fucking badass I love her.
I don't know who Regina or Adam are but I feel you with the burden complex! I hate asking for help so much so that saying thank you after getting help hurts because I'm having to acknowledge the fact that I needed help in the first place, I hate getting presents, I don't like being a burden at all and am fiercely independent. You're not alone! It also kinda blows my mind when I discover someone who's my age or older who heavily depends on other people, especially for things they're perfectly capable of doing themselves. It's like my brain short circuits and all it can do is repeat "But you're a capable adult, why aren't you doing these things yourself?" while they're talking and for ages afterward.
Adam is from the Raven Cycle, isn't he? That's on my tbr, I think I'll like him aha.

I ADORE Sansa. I should read the books just for her tbh

she's so badass and fabulous!! god, that scene from the finale where she Did The Thing?? that was perfect.

Adam is from TRC, yes :) and oh my god I relate to that SO MUCH. I genuinely can't even get rides from other people without anxiety. For me it's just "you have no worth as a person if you rely on others" which is funny bc I don't think that when other people ask me for help?? it's just me :/

Yeeeessssssss, I literally stood up flapping my arms about telling my mum to shut up every time she tried to talk because I wanted to hear everything!

Same, I have such a higher expectation for myself than others but when I find someone heavily relies on others I just can't understand why they wouldn't do more for themselves. I'll either be willing to help you whenever you need but as soon as I feel you're taking advantage and relying too much on others then I'm out.
