The Rose Lerner story started very slowly (and the hero was kind of a drip) but it picked up a lot at the halfway point
The Jeannie Lin would probably have made more sense if I'd read the other stories in the series, but it was still enjoyable. It's always good to see a non-Regency historical romance!
