after Alaska leave the boarding school Pudge and the Colonel fall asleep and are awoken by the Eagle early in the morning. All the students are assembled to the gym and are told that Alaska has died in a car crash. Pudge doesnt believe it at first and the colonel blames himself for what has happened.

After the prank Pudge, the Colonel, Alaska, Takumi, and Lara all hide out in a barn for a couple days. During that time Lara and Pudge get together. when they return to the boarding school the Eagle doesn't suspect anything. Later Alaska goes to Pudge and Colonel and says shes got to get out of there. Then she leaves.

So far Pudge has gone home for Christmas which he studied the whole time for because of tests starting to day he gets back. Next the colonel and Alaska have started planing a pre-prank so the Eagle wont think there is actually another one coming.During the prank Pudge got bit in the but by a swan which i thought was really funny.

this book has been interesting so far. The main character, Pudge, has gone to a boarding school. He has maid some new friends and is figuring out the ropes of the school.
