This is a hefty book but I'm about the prose style. Also it's set in England so obviously I'm a fan

Once again I am starting in the middle of a series, but I feel a little bit better about it with this one because I know Inspector Lynley. I was madly in love with the series that was shown on PBS and own a number of the episodes on DVD. It's going to be interesting to see how the novel character is different from the TV adaptation
