I get a little confused as to why the characters feel the negativity, the depression they feel and what feels like suddenly shut out everyone and shut down in themselves. I feel like I miss something or an important key(s). I get a lot is going on but the sudden shut downs are well sudden and kind of unexpected. I shake my head and say "wait what? I wasn't expecting that from this character."

It could all be cut and the novel read just fine and the outcome be the same. I wish I had a print edition to cross out everything not needed. This series would go from 20 something books to maybe five. Hell, Harry Potter was done successful in seven! Take note Nadler.

Chapter fifty four was a bogus filler, "let's recap the past...again" chapter. To say I am pissed is a good guess; I want to throw my iPad across the room like "what the hell?! What a damn waste!" The downfall this novel has is this flashback to event that have occurred in the previous novels.

Inconsistency: it read that jack picked up bee and David from the sitter and dropped Davis off at his parents. Then it reads bill walked into their bedroom to find Julie holding a sleeping David.

Seriously, someone needs to proofread this stuff. It's annoying and insulting and sadly consistent in every one of Nadlet novels in this series

She made Stephanie pregnant again, really? During the middle of Julie's and Naomi's crisis'. Good grief.

I've also skipped through a lot of the flashback that appear in previous novels. It's easy to determine those as they are in italic.

The flashback series of Tommy and Brittany with their journey of Naomi was too much and not needed. Nadlet has this tendency to insert general thoughts or flashbacks when someone dramatic just occurred - it's annoying. I flipped past this whole section

The open-ended thoughts/paragraph at the beginning of chapter 26 was a little off with the flow Nadler has established. She usually jus continues the story one chapter after another, some even with cliff hangers helping to make it "a page turner." the open-ended thoughts/general idea was just different and unexpected. she's done this once before and I noted it as a negative as well.
