Literally the most juvenile book I've been subjected too... I'm done. Audible...where's my credit back?

Hard for me to take this seriously... Trying way to hard to be like Jon Strange and Mr. Norrell, and not really succeeding.. So the main character is introduced to the idea of magic existing...and accepts it as though accepting the fact that the sky is blue... And the scientific exposition is thick enough to cut through with a chainsaw...
