My book seems to be getting confusing I don't know why my main character is fighting in the war was it his choice or was he forced.

I think that book is intresting already and I say that because of that fact that there in war right now my main character stated alot of problems that were going on in the war that he didn't like and wanted to change I also identified that as of right now the story is being told in first person because on many pages in the book I saw the word "I".
