I likely would be loving this book if I watched slasher horror films. I don’t. It is still good though but I know I am missing a great especially of the subtext.

I am not a fan of horror films — especially not slasher films. I am enjoying the book so far, I KNOW I am missing out on references and seminal films to add to my watchlist.
I will pass this book on to my son especially since it references Black Christmas, which apparently is his favorite. I‘m clueless. LOL.
