“We’re supposed to be Fates, but don’t you feel as if we’re all a little cursed?” LaLa asked
“I’m not actually a Fate,” Chaos corrected, speaking over her, and then suddenly they were face-to-face, looking at each other in the way that Evangeline had been looking at impostor Jacks.
“Why don’t you just bite her and get it over with,” Ja ks growled at Chaos.

“You really don’t hope for anything? What gets you up in the morning?”
“I have difficulty sleeping.”

“You should have been more specific. Didn’t anyone ever warn you about making deals with Fates?”
“You’re a Fate?” Evangeline asked.

Jacks wanted to spend his whole life with Evangeline.. so he asked Poison to find something (or someone) to make Evangeline stop growing old ..

So a Fae comes by .. and to stop Evangeline from growing old her life must be tied to Jacks. But they have to face tests.. he doesn’t want to. But still…

Sometimes, she was farther away, it was barely there. More like a string than a rope that tied them together. It had always felt like something. Until now.
