I hardly ever read on e-devices but I saw this one and I just had to read it immediately...and yeah it's on my phone (since I don't own a kindle...yet.) Just beyond the first few pages and I'm already bawling my eyes out. So very heart-wrenching! It starts out with Emilia and her dad just before her life goes to .... 😭

Of course I already know (since it was in the synopsis,) but I can already see in my reading where this is going...what one will endure for the sake of their family. Poor Emilia; I could feel her initial resolve and then the moment of her resignation...to the making of such a heartbreaking decision to sacrifice herself to the evil surrounding her.
