Starting to like Juniper and Kai more the further into the story I get. I’m so curious about Kai’s backstory too with him being such a closed off person emotionally when it comes to his past, versus how Juniper is more apt to answer when he’s wanted to know things about her past. Whatever happened to him must have been really traumatizing. And I’m intrigued to see what it was.

Happy to be back reading a John Green book for the first time in almost a decade. And we’re already off to an interesting start. The end of chapter three. 👀 I have mixed feelings, but a part of me liked what Kai said. It honestly made sense to a point.
