I'm not very far in, but STRUGGLING with this book so far. About ready to start counting every time the author uses "I," though I think I'd never finish reading the thing. The beginning is almost excruciatingly slow, yet somehow contains almost no exposition. I'll probably slog though it, but it's def going to be a slog.
