experiencing right now some of the laziest story telling I've ever encountered.

things that have happened in this book that I need updates and clarification on:
- marella's pregnancy
- the shoe competition
- inheritance of the manor. I used to assume this had to do with why the girls were dying but now I think it's just some early on bullshit included to throw suspicion
- the dragon man
- gods and their role in this world
- what is happening to the sisters and why are they dying

I'm sort of SO pissed off, I just feel like this book is so unfocused. I cannot trace point a to point b to point c. Which I #DoNot think is a me problem. and I'm bored!!! This book doesn't even have real stakes to me. Has the shoe competition been totally dropped?? Things keep happening with no follow through or explanation and I'm so irritated. I also just care about nothing going on here.

literally what the hell is happening

I can't even find satisfaction in (redacted) being the hans from frozen of this story bc (redacted) isn't even interesting or compelling. and I'm still bored! like (redacted) being (redacted) does not compel me at all. and their dad kinda hates them btw.

- sort of very boring??? maybe now things are getting interesting but idk
- lame ass dad
- I'm suspicious of everyone
- cassius and fisher. eye roll
- i would like to be brazenly flirted with. I do not mean that at all but maybe I do (I don't).

listening to this while fighting with every bone in my body not to over-pack. what if I need a fifth pair of pants. what if the weather changes swiftly and it will be 40° in early september? you don't know. nobody knows.
