That was nice. She really did bring him back to
life—twice

3.5 or so stars
This was close to being a solid 4 but she was just too childish to start out with and the all consuming love still felt abrupt

Okay that was a lovely ending. She really did begin to accept and and she would have been okay. She wasn’t nothing without him, she just loved him

I’m pretty sure you’d need more than two mirrors to actually see anything all the way up there

I’m sorry her dragging him out of the casket was wild
I knew the sun wouldn’t let that slide

Wait he’s not fr dead right there’s still like 80 pages left he cannot actually be gone what
Really thought the sun would step in there

Ok idk I feel like there wasn’t enough time for the live to build this strong and he seemed fairly annoyed with her not long ago

But that aside it was a pretty beautiful sequence

This guy has had no game in over a century that’s some restraint

Come on no way the Sun doesn’t recognize their live and allow him to keep on breathing right?

Honestly I would not wanna be her and I don’t blame her. Being the only immortal in a small village with a horrible job. That’s sounds awful

Of course Farren’s character had to get ruined because the original choice can’t even just be a good guy that didn’t work out

I still think their maturity levels don’t match up
Like at least privately marry him for the glare line can we not

Ok I actually cannot handle this girl. She demands a wedding and forced him into it even though he’s clearly against it then leaves him at the altar in front of everyone. Child behavior what is up

Okay I’m just kinda grossed out. The whole 18 and whatever hundred thing is always weird but she SO immature and ACTS like a child so him falling for her feels icky. It’s different when they’re actually mature and act grown but she doesn’t, like at all

I do love the unique part of the book, hanging the sunlight in a lantern and such. That’s quite cool

Ok that explains him wanting her I suppose, he wants his successor
He’s really just a regular guy who happens to bring the sun huh

She’s just SO childish. You can’t do an age gap romance and have her acting like that 💔
And why is she blaming him for this?? It’s not his fault, it’s the Sun’s. He’s literally doing his job and was nice enough to agree to marriage so her hating him makes 0 sense 🙄
