Things are finally coming to a head! Also I read some criticism about the book and now I can’t unsee that, especially as I read more lol. Still enjoying it though! The writing is good and while the main plot still feels slow, I am reminded that our narrator is like 14. Excited to finish this one.

This is a good book but not finding myself super invested in the main plot of finding the mom… making it a slow read for me. Doesn’t read or feel like a page turner, yet at least. I just remember reading this book in 5th grade for a book report which ????????

I can’t believe I read this book for the first time in fifth grade lol
