Flashbacks to KSI and mating tortoises.

Would love be any less complicated if we had smaller brains and shells?
Really liking this, it’s something about Italian authors.

Blackbirds whistle.
What’s unseen or left unsaid means as much as what’s seen or said, but it takes a level of a familiarity and understanding to fill in those gaps Palomar and his wife understand what’s left unsaid between them, but the two blackbirds whistling presents a more cryptic conversation to him.

picked up on a whim from Waterstones, interesting concept, first few pages intrigued me and I like the 3x3 structure.
