the way Tamsyn writes Harrow is incredible. this entire book she is different. we are experiencing a broken, shattered, tortured version of her. For one chapter. 3 pages. She brought the old HarrowHark back in a flashback. These 3 pages mean so much. 2 different HarrowHarks. even the way they talk is so different. I’m glad I got to have her back for a second. I missed her

okay so basically Harrow can kiss everyone in the fucking series but Gideon?! Ianthe and now The freaking Body! I’m in agony, Tamsyn. Why do you do this to me?

Rereading last night’s pages because I have to!

also the little bits of G commentary we have gotten from page 300-322 has been incredible. like, “You never bothered yourself with the military” little nod to the fact that G wanted to join the military before Canaan 😭 ALSO Harrows tells P “Lyctorhood was always the plan.” and he says, “not for the old Harrow” BURY ME ALIVE PLEASE I AM BEGGING

speaking of lobotomy, like 30 pages ago Harrow says, “Feels like a lobotomy.” I AM DEAD! TAMSYN THE WOMAN YOU ARE

okay, one more thing, P tells Harrow that Camilla never would have left her side 😭 I am facedown on the floor. I want to sob oh my god. Imagine what could have happened if G never died and they killed Citheria together and all escaped The First together. OH MY GOD!! WHAT A SEQUAL THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN! BUT NO!! instead we get sad tragedy and a lobotomy

SHE SAW A PHOTO OF GIDEON AND WAS TERRIFIED OH MY GOD!! Side note, Camilla, Coronabeth, and Judith are with the Blood of Eden? sounds like Judith was trying to warn Harrow about someone or something before Corona stopped her. I wonder if Blood of Eden are the good guys after all.
