-`♡´-: "cc > acotar if u ask me"I like Sarah's writing and CC but ACOTAR will always be my fave. Maybe because I read it first? But also because I find a lot of the themes in CC hard to get through (the cruelty, misery, slavery etc...). There's darker themes in ACOTAR too, but in CC they're so pervasive.
No, you’re right but I think that’s why I like it more. I also read acotar first! I just really enjoyed cc and the characters so much.

Like Maeve in TOG, but much worse because there's more of them? idk lol all these characters really have to earn their HEAs hey!?!
My absolute favourite part in CC is the (view spoiler) I had goosebumps 🥰. Which character is your favourite?

There definitely seems to be a more sinister / evil vibe in CC but the well earned HEAs make them even more beautiful/special IMO. Plus, I do think there is a fair amount of struggles and tribulations for the characters in acotar to get their HEAs too!
I love Bryce but Lidia (doesn't come til book 2) is prob my fav female character. and I love Ruhn and the guys he lives with.
