many things have happened to Ryan so far, hes completed his PT (physical training) and is being stationed at multiple areas around the country. The inevitable happens and he gets word that theres a big chance he will get deployed to afghanistan. His attitude towards this news is pretty confusing because of his negativity towards it.Once reality hit Ryan i think his attitude towards war got to him maybe not completly

Right away I was able to make many connections to the author Ryan. One thing is that hes in highschool and he describes how highschool really is and the way he felt before matches the way i felt before as well but just like him i found out what highschool really is. One main difference is that his life takes place at the time the world trade center was attacked. His ideas of the military are similar to mine.
