As I've been rereading this masterpiece, my Frodo cosplay for Halloween came in the mail. Yes, I literally own Sting (although, unfortunately, it does not glow when those pesky orcs are about.)
And it occurred to me, as I wielded Sting, donned hobbit ears, hobbit feet and a repurposed Dr. Doom cloak, that I am indeed a big 'ole freaking nerd.
