I think that the moral universe of The Hobbit is that it is normal, even expected that there are supernatural things going on. In The Hobbit, no one is ever surprised to see an ugly goblin, immortal elves, dwarves, giant eagles, and even fire-breathing dragons. People in the world, of The Hobbit, might be surprised by something, but that doesn't mean that they don't expect it.

Genres are things that vaguely, determine what the book is about. For example, if there is a non-fiction book, then that means it is one hundred percent fact but unfortunately, The Hobbit, is basically the opposite. The Hobbit could be many genres, like fantasy, fiction, mythology, or even a drama at times. Personally, I think that the main genre of The Hobbit is fantasy, and the rest of them are all sub genres.

Since this is a choose your own topic update I decided to choose my favorite characters. I really like Bilbo because he is adventurous and has changed his stars ever since he left the Shire. Bilbo has became tough and smart throughout his journey. Another character I really like is Killi the Dwarf. I like Killi because he is the scout of the company and is always nice and forgiving to Bilbo.

The Hobbit has several symbolic archetypes, like the symbolism in the colors. The Shire, where Bilbo Baggins lives, is mainly green because of the hills they live in. The Shire is very calm, safe, and happy just like the archetypes for the color green. Also, later on in the story, they face a red dragon, known as Smaug. Smaug is red because he represents violence, heat, and greed.
