The moral universe accepted popular people who partied. I was socitaly eceptable to bully Sarah when she passed the hallway. It was uneceptable for Sam to talk to people who are at a lower "class" or less popular, it was considered weird for her to go up to Rachel and switch shoes and give her a book full of artwork. It was usual for the kids to yell "psycho"at Sarah. But when Sam ran after her to help, it was weird.

Sam is a sympathetic character. I fell bad for what has happened to her. For example when I realized she was going to live the same day for the rest of her life I was sad, I felt sorry for her. Her best friend Lindsey is an antisympathetic character. She is mean to Sarah and I am angry at her. When Sarah showed up at the party and called Lindsey a b*tch I didn't feel sorry for Lindsey even though she was imbarrased.
