What appears to be the backstory behind the boat is that the city was falling and the city had to escape but the mysterious grandfather who appeared to have passed away built this ship before the crisis. The 3 separate clans on the ship are the officers, the cooks, and the engineers.

The Boy has been accepted, sort of. The engineers are protecting him and helping him. But the Cooks and the officers want him off. The Cooks were planning on attacking the engineers and throwing the boy off the ship. The Engineers aren't backing down there is probably going to be somewhat of a war about this dilemma. But if it dos come down to it. It's gonna be 2 verses on Officers and Cooks, Vs. Engineers. 3/15/17

Petrel is on a boat. After the amount of time that it has taken on the water. The Passengers have divided themselves into Tribes. Officers, Mechanics, and Cooks. They pass by an iceberg. A boy almost half frozen.
