Columbine's stops and instead Dave Cullen shows the drawings inside Dylan's journal. I think he does this to help the reader see what really went through his mind. Writers strategy

The Harrises and Klebolds remained secluded. The Harrises eventually sold their house, but remained in the area. The Klebolds have not moved. In July of 2006, Dylan's older brother, Bryon, got married.
Why do you think they included a "where are they now" section in the book?

"In his last twenty-four hours, Dylan got active. He drew up full-page sketches of himself in body armor" front and back displays geared up with explosives. One of the last pages included a brief schedule for NBK, now pushed back to Tuesday. It ended like this: "When first bombs go off, attack. have fun!" Why do you think Dylan did this? A-ask

Dylan wrote a story during creative writing class about a murder. His teacher, Kelly, saw this and questioned him about the motive. Dylan insisted it was just a story but Kelly was skeptical. She contacted his parents and brought the story to his counselor. Kelly was one of the only people to worry about Dylan's violent stories. "As Eric wrapped up plans for April 20, Dylan was laying into his journal in a frenzy. They were shirt entries and erratic, tossing aside all his conventions. Several ran half a page or less. He was expressing himself more and more in pictures, all his old icons returning, linked together in a wild, feverish strokes. Up until his final week, Dylan wrote privately of almost nothing else."

Dylan started assembling his arsenal senior year just before Halloween. Why do you think he started so far in advance? A- ask
