By the end of the 4th section, JESSICA.
The clichés are heavy-handed in portraying a past-their-prime celebrity in their desperate efforts to stay relevant despite obvious and natural decay from the industry. Drama on top of drama following what was laid out in previous character sections.
Soap opera realism (×) trashy chit lit genre for extra dramatic plot juiciness seems like the likely recipe of this writing.

One would think for this book that the young woman with the highly complicated serious but questionable relationship who manipulates a wedded man who is not her assumed boyfriend into a purely physical relationship with the husband of a regular client would be the most distasteful concept here. Unfortunately not since that client was pushed to terminate a pregnancy by the same guy as he cheats repeatedly on her. Uh.

Going into the third (3rd) section now and its proving to be interestingly predictable with its juicy realism even with disappointing bits about supressing justified reactions to terrible behaviors from supposed loved ones. The 'happy-hubby-happy-life' is a detestible example of the things these women put up with in this narrative which could be sweet but its just being understanding to a person who is not deserving.

Beginning to see the salacious network of relationships the writer had in mind. This is slowly turning into what seems like an affair within an affair narrative proving the 'its a small world' circumstance and how karma is much faster in smaller circles.

Della is the type of book character who you continue to read for not because they are great or pleasant as she is distasteful and a mean girl so far. Instead, you keep reading to see how her karma catches up to her and how ironic her story comes to in the end.

Onto the second section's focus character where one is reminded to hold off hate and distaste for a character until the end of the book. For movies, its easy to separate the actor from the character, the more hated the role, the better the acting. Books on the othed hand have only the writer to credit for the reception of a character.
This Della character is making it hard to give a happy birthday to her.

The first section is a good start and an entertainingly realistic snippet of how children see the world. Without knowledge of the otherness than of being kids but with the desire of being treated as adults from the moment they can speak. Their speech also being formed phonetically before it is logically sensible. The effort to make the narrative as if spoken by a child is acknowledged for the Scarlett character.
