Call of the Wild: Began this book reading out loud to Mia on our backpacking trip. Seemed fitting at the time in the place. Never before read so dog-centric a book. That and the intense brutality of Buck’s “care”takers weren’t too appealing. Not feeling inspired to read White Fang right after, but maybe I’d take a trip to Yukon if the time permitted?
