Milca’s Reviews > Mad Mabel > Status Update

I don’t understand the hype around *Mad Mabel*. It wasn’t a bad book by any means, but I went into it expecting something much more memorable because of all the praise it received. The story had some good moments, and I can see why it works for certain readers, but it never fully clicked for me.

I kept waiting for that *wow* factor that would make me understand the five-star reviews, and it just never came.
